If I’m not sure what size to put down for my jersey, pants etc, what do I do?

Contact your university equipment manager to find out what size you wear in your school uniforms.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU ALSO HAVE A RETURN SHIPPING LABEL SENT WITH YOUR EQUIPMENT. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO HELP OUR STAFF MAKE SURE THAT IT IS PACKED AND READY TO BE SENT BACK TO YOUR UNIVERSITY AFTER THE GAME IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT WITH YOU.

I do not have an insurance policy can you help me find a policy?

Yes to practice or play in our game you must have a health insurance policy that is current. If you do not have an insurance policy and need help finding one for the game please call or have your agent call Jim Duncan 800-757-0957 or 573-999-5738.

What if I need to make changes to my travel arrangements?

When you submitted your travel arrangements, you agreed to cover any costs incurred if changes are made. You or your parent/agent can contact the game travel agent directly to make necessary changes and provide payment. Please DO NOT make changes through anyone other than the travel agent as the staff will not know your travel plans and will not be able to provide you with transportation etc. upon your arrival.

Where will the team be staying?

Both teams will be staying at the Marriott River Center, San Antonio, TX.

Where should my parents stay?

We have arranged rates with 5 different Marriotts in the area.  Reservations can be made by clicking on the Marriott button on the HOME PAGE of the website.

Can my wife stay with me at the Hotel?

You will be required to stay with your assigned roomate during the week in your assigned room. We will however make every effort to get her into the players hotel if you prefer.

What should I bring to wear during off hours?

Bring sweats or whatever you feel comfortable wearing. We will provide a wind suit, cotton sweats and a t-shirt. If we are on an outing the staff will let you know what is appropriate attire for the event.

Do I need to bring a suit?

Most definitely not.

Can I bring helmet decals and trade them?

Yes, you may bring decals from your team and trade. We must demand that only your decal is worn on your helmet during the game. CBS requires this so that they can quickly identify you and your school. You will not be allowed on the field if you have another school’s logo on your helmet.

What is the weather like in San Antonio during game week?

The temperature during the week should be in the mid 60’s. It does not usually rain but it would be wise to bring some wet weather gear.

Should I bring warm weather gear?

Yes, probably. Bring clothes that wick moisture and layer well.

How can I purchase tickets for family members?

Through ticketmaster.com or go to www.nflpagame.com and look under fans for ticket options. There is also a link to tickets on the Home Page of this website.

If my family is purchasing additional tickets, which side is Texas and which side is Nation?

Nation will be on the West side of the stadium….opposite the Press Box.

Should I bring money to the game?

We suggest that you bring some money for incidentals; you may leave a credit card number at the hotel desk for incidentals and room service. We will provide for all of your meals that will be mandatory to attend. There are meals that you will not be required to attend or are not provided and then those cases monies will be needed.

Who is coaching this year’s game?

Coach Bill Bates…former Dallas Cowboy DB…will coach the Texas Team this year.  Jerry Glanville former Houston Oilers and Atlanta Falcons head coach will coach the Nation Team.

Will I have time to talk to NFL scout during the week?

Most definitely, we want to make this the most beneficial time for you and the scouts. We have set aside time and areas that you can interview with the scouts that want to visit with you and vice versa. We will give the scouts your room number so that they may leave you a message or personally contact you.

What happens if I am injured during the season?

We would ask that you contact us immediately so that we can make a decision as to hold the slot for you or if you so desire release it so that we can get it filled with the next best available player at that position.

What type of exposure to the next level will I receive?

All of the NFL, CFL and Arena teams will be sending scouts to the Bowl Game. The main reason scouts are attending the game is to have you fill out questionnaires, take tests, watch how you practice and have an opportunity to talk with you in a relaxed setting.
