TvN Announces Sponsorship of El Paso High School All-Star Classic

Texas vs. the Nation supports high school football in El Paso

EL PASO, TEXAS — – The 18th Annual Senior All Star Football Classic announced Texas vs. the Nation as an “All District” sponsor yesterday at a press conference held in El Paso, Texas. Texas vs. the Nation has teamed up with this local high school all-star game to help give back to the El Paso community.

The event, held on December 19, 2009 at Sun Bowl Stadium, features top high school seniors from the El Paso area in an east versus west showdown. All Star seniors from the fine arts will be featured in the game as well with a National Anthem performance by the All Star Choir and a performance from the All Star Band at halftime. Halftime will also feature cheerleaders and dancers from the community and a special performance by the R&B top 10 recording artist Amanda Perez.

For Texas vs. the Nation, the decision to partner with this high school all star event was easy.

“Our involvement with this event just makes sense, The players on that field in December are the future of the sport of football. We hope that a few of them make it back to the Sun Bowl in a few years as All-Stars in the collegiate world,” said Tami Spencer, vice president of operations for Texas vs. The Nation.

“We’re a college all-star game here in El Paso, and El Paso has committed to us and embraced us in the community as their own. We want to give back as much as we can, and our high school seniors are the future of the game,” Spencer said.
